“You’re never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child.”-Dr. Seuss

The imaginative world of Dr. Seuss has made reading fun for many generations. His colorful art style, playful rhymes and lovable characters; has made him a household name. Dr. Seuss knew the importance of reading; so it’s only fitting to celebrate Read Across America Day on Dr. Seuss’s Birthday!

North Bowl is hosting Dr. Seuss Day & Book Drive on March 2, from 12:00-3:30 p.m. Guests must bring a book to be donated to the book drive. When you donate a book North Bowl will give you a complimentary bowling game to be used on your next visit.

Dr. Seuss Day & Book Drive will have some fun activities during the event. The bowling lanes will have Dr. Seuss movies on the screens. Philadelphia READs, will be hosting a bookmark making craft where guests can keep them or donate them. Philadelphia READs will also be hosting a Story Telling Time.

There will also be Dr. Seuss brunch menu, featuring some of your favorite Seussical foods like green eggs and hams and toast with jam.

Guests are encouraged to dress in their best Dr. Seuss cosplay!

You can even checkout a similar event at South Bowl on the same day.
