“This showing is a new look at Night of the Living Dead.”

Our month of Geek O’ Ween is almost over; so let us end it with something Spooktacular! This Halloween, the Philadelphia Film Society, is doing a special showing of 1967’s Night of the Living Dead. On October 31, at the Philadelphia Film Center (formerly the Prince Theater) you can watch Night of the Living Dead with a live score! The showing is from 7:30-9:30 p.m. and tickets are $15. You can purchase tickets on the PFS’s website.

‘Night of the Living Dead with a Live Score’ will give the audience a new way to look at the film. Ben Singer, of Modern Robot, has re-edited the soundtrack, composed a new film score, and will perform the music live, accompanied by drummer Nicholas Falk.

This special event is happening on Halloween; so feel free to wear your costume!

Experience one of the greatest zombie films of all time but with a live score this Halloween!
