Why yes, the future is female!
After sending the internet into a frenzy last night over the hint of something “marvel-ous” coming…
Yes! Meet us here at noon ET. We’ve got something Marvel-ous in mind. 😉

Entertainment Weekly dropped the world’s first official look at Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel. Larson’s Carol Danvers is the publication’s cover this coming week (the magazine will hit newsstands this Friday) and along with a power pose…
…the magazine will be filled with cast interviews and first look stills from the film which is slated to hit theaters in March 2019!
Here is how Larson describes Danvers in her interview for EW:
She can’t help but be herself. She can be aggressive, and she can have a temper, and she can be a little invasive and in your face. She’s also quick to jump to things, which makes her amazing in battle because she’s the first one out there and doesn’t always wait for orders. But the [not] waiting for orders is, to some, a character flaw.
Here are just a couple of the stills EW dropped with the cover, really you should all go out and buy the magazine and either frame it or laminate it because hello HERstory!
While last night I dreamed that we would be getting our first teaser trailer for the film, I could not help but get goosebumps when this cover popped up (okay I was literally refreshing the EW Twitter feed) on my timeline. Carol Danvers means so much to so many people and until we see her on that big screen it is still hard to believe that she is actually getting her own film!
Captain Marvel will hit theaters March 2019!
