SDCC: ‘American Horror Story’ Reveals the Latest Clue to the New Season – The Title

Oh, American Horror Story. You keep sucking me in with your cryptic teasers but lose me every season after the plot gets ridiculous.

At the San Diego Comic-Con panel, the title for the upcoming 8th season was revealed. American Horror Story: Apocalypse. Pretty fitting for what’s going on in the world right now. The upcoming season will be a cross-over between Murder House and Coven, which fans of the series have been dying for.

Now let’s talk about this season’s promotional images. A creepy red baby and a dark black hand with long fingernails touching the said baby.

What could this mean? Will this season focus on the anti-christ? Is this the baby from Murder House? What do the witches have to do with this?

Details on the plot are unknown but I’m sure we will slowly get snippets seeing as the show returns in the less than two months. Hopefully less devil baby.

The anthology series will return on September 12 on FX. The cast will include Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Leslie Grossman, and Emma Roberts. Joan Collins will be a fresh face among the returning cast. Also, guest starring on the show are Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Kyle Allen.

Are you ready for another season of the horror anthology?
