‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Rocks the ’80s in First Look Photos

Wonder Woman 1984 has managed to delight me and confuse all in the span of one still from the upcoming film.

Patty Jenkins took to her Twitter today to share a first look at Wonder Woman 1984 that is currently filming. The photo she shared of Steve Trevor rocking a member’s only jacket in a shopping mall is what really threw me. Mainly because I’m wondering how Steve Trevor is alive in 1984 when he died at the end of the first Wonder Woman movie (which took place during WWI)!

As the internet does, a bunch of theories has circulated because of this photo. DC pulled a Marvel and Steve has been frozen this entire time. Time travel. This isn’t really Steve but rather a relative. Whichever theory turns out to be true I am fine with as long as I get to look at Chris Pine.

Gal Gadot shared a photo as well. Diana Prince staring at a clump of television screens depicting the current world of the ’80s.

No photos from Kristen Wiig as Cheetah but I’m desperately waiting to see her rocking that look. Since Pedro Pascal has been cast in an undisclosed role it will definitely be a while before we see any photos of him.

Wonder Woman 1984 will hit theaters on November 1, 2019.
