Four time Academy Award nominated actor, Annette Bening, is joining Academy Award winner Brie Larson to save the world!

Well actually we are not exactly sure what Bening’s role will be but she has joined the cast of Captain Marvel and is rumored to be playing the mother of Larson’s Carol Danvers.

Bening also joins Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, and Gemma Chan who will all appear in the film. It was confirmed back at SDCC that Samuel L. Jackson will be reprising his role as Nick Fury in the upcoming Marvel film.

Captain Marvel will take place in the ’90s – so WAY before all the drama that went down during Infinity War – and is currently in production.

Hopefully, we will get an official synopsis soon! I am LITERALLY counting down the days until we get to meet Carol on the big screen and then a month later to see her save the damn UNIVERSE in Avengers 4!

Captain Marvel will take on theaters March 2019!
