‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ Trailer or I Never Thought I Would be Horny for Dumbledore

The internet lit up their wands today when Warner Bros released the trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

It definitely seems that Warner Bros has been reading social media’s dislike for Johnny Depp in Fantastic Beasts because they made sure he was barely in the trailer for the movie that his character’s name is in the title. Good job, WB. Obviously, when the time comes for us to watch the movie, Grindelwald will be all over it but I’d rather not think about that zombie-like wizard right now. Let’s move on.

In this trailer, we learn that Dumbledore (Jude Law) has sent Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), our favorite magical animal rights activist or magizoologist, to Paris. And magical Paris is gorgeous. Dumbledore can’t go against Grindelwald, which isn’t made clear why in this trailer, so he burdens Newt with this task. Aka Dumbledore’s modus operandi **cough cough Snape, cough cough Harry Potter**. But I’ll forgive Dumbledore for that because HOLY HELL I WAS NOT EXPECTING TO BE HORNY FOR DUMBLEDORE!! Jude Law you are looking fine! Can you apparate into my chambers?

Seriously, no wonder Grindelwald is so angry, he’s missing the fine piece of ass that is Dumbledore. I mean that’s no excuse for the horrendous acts he’s committing but a possible indicator as to why.

But let’s talk about the rest of the trailer. Our favorite no-maj (ugh, still hate that word) Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler) is back in action helping Newt and he’s still adorable being excited about the magical world. Tina (Katherine Waterson) is also back, seeming to be a super sleuth as she goes full auror. Weirdo, Creedence (Ezra Miller) reappears as well. Not sure why but I guess we will get an explanation.

Does this trailer help get back some of your excitement for the Fantastic Beasts franchise?

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits theaters on November 18, 2018.
