The hiatus is dark and full of terrors…
Game of Thrones has been off the air for almost a month now and we are led to believe that the eighth and final season will begin production in October so the rumor mill is starting to kick up especially since the most popular S8 rumor is that we won’t be getting a new episode until 2019!
Well now the man that has been delivering Game of Thrones news to us, HBO programming president Casey Bloys, revealed this week while speaking at Moravian College that the series will film multiple endings so the cast will not know how the show ends. Can you just picture like a group of Game of Thrones fans bullying a cast member into revealing the ending? That is literally all I can picture now!
Bloys was reported to have said this:
I know in Game of Thrones, the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really knows what happens. You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.
HBO is not denying or confirming Bloys’ statement…
The eighth season will be a grand total of six episodes and I hope that if multiple endings are shot we can see them once the season is over!
Game of Thrones will return in late 2018 OR in 2019!
