‘Game of Thrones’ Master Player of The Week: Saving The Day, Dany!

Season 7 | Episode 6 | “Beyond The Wall”

Welcome, Game of Thrones fans to the NEW weekly post where a resident (or sometimes non-resident) of Westeros is crowned the Master Player of the Week. This may or may not be in direct relation to me justifying my team, Killing Them Starkly, picks for my Game of Thrones fantasy league I am a part of with co-workers.

Anyway, let’s take a look back at season 7 episode 6 and see who was the Master Player of the Week

Daenerys Targaryen

To say that Dany was on fire in episode 6 of season 7 would be a pun and very much true! Though I do think Dany needs to chill with the whole “last Targaryen” thing and win over the people with her charm (like she has won Jon Snow!). Westeros does look good on her – I mean she has been glowing since landing at Dragonstone. But that is not the reason Dany has won the Master Player of the Week. And yes, she sassed the shit out of Tyrion, had a moment with Jon Snow, and lost one of her children, and agreed to fight against the Night King – but the real reason Dany won this week is because she is a mother f*!king badass hero!

Yep, if Dany didn’t come flying in with her three f*!king dragons to save a group of grown ass men who embarked on probably the dumbest of missions – the Eastwatch crew would all be dead! It was such a beautiful thing to see, and we all loved every minute of it! Get your man and get your kingdom Dany, it is no wonder Jon Snow bent the damn knee!

Honorable Mentions:

Uncle Benjen Stark

This beautiful man has been living in some kind of limbo for awhile. Though be may have never truly known why the Children of the Forest helped him remain part human, he knows that in his final moments he went down fighting for his family and for the living. Benjen Stark was too good for the world of Westeros…

Night King

Well, aren’t you like super cool now with your damn ice dragon! You are going to give us one hell of a final run!

Who will take the crown next week?

Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 pm on HBO!

But mostly, she would be classified as American’s Newest Sweetheart and be loved by so many. In her Storybrooke, Kait is a recent Temple University graduate searching for her big break!
