Rick and Morty Get Riggity-Wrecked With ‘Alien: Covenant’

I guess it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that Rick and Morty could cross paths with the Xenomorphs with all the worlds they visit.

In this tie-in for Alien: Covenant, Morty makes the duo respond to a distress call. Rick isn’t pleased about helping strangers but once they arrive at the destination he’s all too happy to rub it in his grandson’s face that responding was the wrong choice.

The facehugger attacks Rick but quickly dies before even doing the egg laying deed. Rick’s blood was so toxic because it was full of alcohol and drugs that the facehugger couldn’t take it. To make things even more hilarious, Rick tells Morty that “somebody get a memo to all of these characters in the Alien movies stat.”

Sadly, this funny tie-in won’t help the movie. A lot of people who have seen the movie early are stating that while Covenant is better than Prometheus, it still suffers from trying to answer questions no one asked.
