Consider the stakes officially raised for the second season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and consider me officially on board.
Despite the hopscotching through time during the first season, the very narrow focus/mission meant the season, though shorter than normal at only 16 episodes, dragged a little. But it looks like massive finale, in which our heroes destroyed the Time Masters and turned all of history into a time criminal playground, might actually make for a much better time in the show’s sophomore season.
In the trailer above, you can get a first look at the brand new season, which includes a few new characters, some Nazi encounters, and a much needed face-off between Sara Lance and Damian Dahrk.
With the introduction of the Justice Society of America at the end of last season, and a promise of several character crossovers, including a four-show crossover with the rest of the Berlanti-verse around mid-season, we should be in for one hell of a ride.
