Yesterday was full of “hey, this person is joining the Arrow/Flash spinoff!” but today, the Arrow himself, Stephen Amell gets to be part of the casting news. It’s just been announced that he will be playing Casey Jones in the Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles sequel. According to Variety, he landed the role due to chemistry with Megan Fox but I like to believe it’s due to his already awesome skills at combat and that he works well with the color green.
This is great news for Amell, but sad for me because now I will have to watch the recent remake much to my boyfriend’s delight.
