Yesterday the world was blessed with the completely enchanting trailer for the film St. Vincent, which stars Bill Murray, Melissa McCarthy, Naomi Watts and introducing the adorably talented Jaeden Lieberher (who seems to have the charisma of a young Culkin!).

The film, which is written and directed by Theodore Melfi, tells the story a friendship that developed between Oliver (Lieberher) who finds a babysitter/mentor in his off-beat neighbor Vincent (Murray).
Murray, is pretty much always perfection in my eyes but there is just some kind of magic I see in this performance that I am very excited about. This film kind of reminds me of a warped version of Clint Eastwood‘s Gran Torino, but hopefully with a much happier ending! It is also so refreshing to see Melissa McCarthy playing a “normal” character.
This “indie” comedy is slated to hit theaters at the end of October.
