Philadelphia is Filmadelphia until Oct. 28th

Since half of the staff of AGTM is located in the birth place of the USA, Philadelphia,PA, it is only appropriate that we celebrate The Arts in Philadelphia.

Starting Oct. 18th thru Oct, 28th Philadelphia Film Society will be hosting the Philadelphia Film Festival.  The festival that is being held later then the previous year hosts a wide range of indie features, shorts, and international  films.

The festival is spread across the city using seven theaters, including the beautiful Prince Music Theater in center city.

Closing Night feature Flight (Denzel Washington)

Along with the independent international films the festival will be showcasing several American independent films including The Comedy, Gayby and the Philly based production Future Weather (which AGTM Editor, Tricia Ennis, worked on).

Tricia and I did attend several showings at the festival last year, and my only complaint is the film society did not use social media very well, being the geek I am and addicted to social media I was disappointed.  With that said … Hey Philadelphia Film Society I am available for hire!
