It’s Time for Frankenweenie!!

I was lucky enough to see an advanced screening of Disney’s Frankenweenie this past Tuesday and let me tell you that you are in for a treat.

The movie is dark and twisted, but full of emotion. What else would you expect from Tim Burton? He knows how to deliver the odd in a heartwarming package.

Frankenweenie is the story of a boy scientist named Victor Frankenstein who invents a machine based off of his creepy science teacher’s lecture that allows him to bring his beloved best friend Sparky back to life. Of course this doesn’t bode well once his classmates find out about his secret experiment and copy it for his or her own purposes. Chaos ensues in good old-fashioned 50’s horror movie style.

Be prepared for tears and laughs. But skip the 3D.
